North Wall Quay

DS Movers have been CITI Group contracted removal and support contractor for over ten years.  We have carried out many large decant with them including the move into their flagship Belfast building the Gateway located in the Titanic Quarter.

CITI’s Dublin office on Northwall Quay is a 6 level office block based in the financial district. It had a capacity of 2500 staff. The objective of the OSW Project was to better utilise the building space to achieve a larger occupancy. To achieve that CITI drew up plans that would include more facilities for staff and reduce the existing desk size thus creating more available floor space to populate. To achieve this, new floor plans were drawn up and agreed with departments. The new floor design removed existing meetings rooms, reduced desk size from 1800mm to 1400mm, reduced internal partitioning and included more open-plan desk spaces.

DS Movers role for CITI was to manage the staff migrations including IT decom/Recoms, the supply of packing, file packs, dismantling and removal of the existing 1800 desks which included the environmental management recycling and reporting, install new office furniture to the new reconfigured plan, relocate existing services to accommodate the new plans, carpeting, managing contractors and post-move IT and staff support.
